The admin of all Universities have been infected with people who think like this. Far too many that oppose the transgressive left leaning ideology just got their degrees and went about their lives. Essentially ceding the University to a single ideological mindset. This and other institutions such as entertainment were lost to the non-transgressives gradually over generations. It will not be won back quickly and many of us have to fight knowing that we will die without seeing victory even if it is achieved. Hopefully our children or grandchildren will. That is why not only can no inches be given, ground must be taken back. No more of "oh it is just a little <insert fractional social engineering concept here>" If they think it important and fight for it, it must be opposed as we have seen what is taken when even the slightest ground is "given"
West Virginia is 48th of the 50 states in minority population, so there’s unlikely to be much pressure from within the state or student body for social change at WVU.
Other low-minority states include Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Wyoming.

You think it is the average Black, Latin, Asian, etc... that primarily pushes this social change crap? It is white college educated transgressives who need to manufacture reasons for their useless degrees such as "gender studies". It is elitist twits who think they have thought up something no one else ever did in the history of mankind. And we mere peasants need to allow them to destroy the foundations of the greatest society the world has ever seen. Foundations which were born from the discoveries of hundreds of generations before rather than theories from a small group of arrogant, "educated" elitists. Social science education is just a circle jerk where crackpot ideas are just regurgitated back and forth.

They certainly are. But it is not just the Ivy league where this disease festers. Every University is infested with it. What's worse is just think of all the "education" majors you met in college. I know when I was at WVU they were all idiots who were angry they couldn't grasp 100 level science classes by just showing up to class 3 times a week. Also the professors were all radically left wing who think it is objective truth to extoll ideologies of FDR, Woodrow Wilson, and JFK as "good." These indoctrination factories produce the "teachers" in our public schools.

I think you’re looking for something to be upset about. The chances of WVU being in the liberal vanguard of whatever the hell “wokeism” is, seems pretty remote to me. If they are, send your kids to a college that conforms to your political philosophy, or just don’t send them to college.
I know wokeism is some trendy thing, it’s just not worth my time to learn about it. Whatever is is, it will be out of style soon, just like progressive democrats. Don’t hear much about the squad anymore, do you?
It’s kind of like the LGBTQ terminology. I think I know what LGB is. I might know what T is, but I’m not sure if you need surgery to qualify. I looked up *****, and was stunned at the number of sexual preferences that fell in that category. For me, I’ve whittled it down to you either like sex with the opposite gender, the same gender, or both genders.

This is where we can be fans and find common ground, bringing that crap on here not only hurts the board community, but it will in no way change a f'n thing you are complaining about. Vote, run for office, petition, refuse to donate, protest, do whatever is legal if you're on the left or right to make your voice heard in the approprite forum, but please don't come on here to campaign. I agree. But only a "progressive" ideology takes the stance of the "personal is the political." It is that side that insisted entertainment, including sports, become just another political arena.
If someone wants to accuse you of being vile for an immutable characteristic such as the color of your skin, I would think you would be upset nor would I think you being upset was due to looking for a grievance. We are talking about regressive attitudes like behavior and ideology being intrinsically tied to race or that reductive quotas based upon skin color and sexual orientation are equitable.
Racists should be banned from the world. The radical right wing lunatics in display here and elsewhere have destroyed many lives and even civilizations and are just hell bent on hating other people. It must be a disease Or mental illness. Blind hate for no reason.
