Ike and Huff abused Moreno, Garrison, and Jelavic in that game. Criminally abused.
Let's see them do it against JQ and MoD.
I dunno, I don’t like the mentality of going against them again. We got abused so badly. I doubt it happens again but still.

Let’s just get healthier and keep improving and see where we are in a few months. I think we have the potential to be a menacing defensive team. But we have to take care of the ball better than today and when you are a defensive first team you have to create turnovers to get easy baskets.

There are THREE teams in the Kenpom T10 in both offense and defense.

Meeechigan
Zona
and Zaga.

There are three teams just out side the T10 in one of those categories but in the T10 in the other

Duke
Iowa St.
BYU

You're crazy to want Zaga right now.

This is Kentucky and we aren't afraid to play anyone, but we will get smacked. Maybe not as bad. But Zaga is good.

Gonzaga isn't just the team that beat UK by 35. They're also the team that lost by 40 the previous game. Also, Kentucky at full strength and playing good defense is not the team that got humiliated by Gonzaga.

Come on now. Part of that's true. But they got smoked by 40 to the number one team in the country and who is probably going to cakewalk to the title.

Let's see how many good wins we can string together first before we start thumping our chest and calling out a team that beat us by 35 on a neutral court with a crowd that had about 80% UK fans in attendance.

Lowe and JQ will make a huge difference, but I'm not sure they would make a difference that's worth 35 points.

I think UCONN wins it but that's another argument. Do you think Michigan is really 40 points better than the
Zags or would beat them that bad in a rematch? But my point really is that Gonzaga is closer to the team that got
beat by 40 than UK is now to the team the Zags beat beat by 35. In a rematch, that game turning into a blowout is
probably better for UK than if it was a 10 point loss.

Have you watched UM? They ARE that good. They have the Number 1 Defense. And the Number 4 offense. Would they torch them by 40 again? Probably not. Would they easily beat them? Yes.

UConn is good. But there offense is not even T10 Kenpom. Remember, no team has really ever won a title that wasn't T10 in both or really close to T10 in both. Although those bastard Huskies are one of the few teams ever to do so (ranked 39th in Off) in 2014.....damn it now I'm pissed off again.

Baylor did it in 2021 over Zaga somehow (ranked 22nd in Def).

They're the rare exceptions.

No, I havn't watched them but I don't doubt that they're good. But you're making them sound like one of the all time great teams.

But I will say that I believe there is a 40 point swing between almost every team's best and worst games.

Michigan is really good. Let’s not crown them just yet. It’s December. They’ll lose some games. By tournament time, the picture may look a lot different.

The issue is there's nobody in the B1G that can really stop them. Maybe Purdue- but their defense isn't great. MAYBE MSU but their offense is TURRIBLE.

I'm not saying they won't lose, but that's a damn good team. And it's going to take a Duke or a Zona to give them a challenge.

Season's not over but they very well could be. May is starting to look like a VERY good coach.

I'll pass. They humiliated Kentucky. I'd rather play Indiana and St John's if you know what I mean.

Much rather play a team outside of the top 20. We seem to play better against those teams. Probably just a coincidence
