I like the new adds and here is why

They will bring excitement to the Big 12. BYU is always up for a game/fight/whatever. They have a great record the past 15 years and are a football school with a pretty good basketball team. Central Florida what I have called the sleeping giant and what I mean by that is not some team who can beat an SEC school now and again I am talking like a team who could replace OK and TX and bring it every week. Just think what they could do being in a power 5 conference. Cincy again past 15 years very solid football record with very good Basketball. They will be an instant impact to the Big 12 and the coach is one of the best in the business. Houston, the potential is huge, the admin backs football and will spend the $$$$$ on it. So overall great adds and be sad all you want about OK and TX leaving these teams will add to the Big 12 and in 5-10 years the Big 12 will be better off. As a fan of college football this is a good thing

To add here right now the Big 12 would have 2 top 10 teams and 5 teams ready to crack the top 25

The best thing about the current Big 12, in my opinion, is the fact that all schools play each other in football and twice in basketball, so I would have liked to have seen the expansion stop at two schools. Now, you're likely to see two divisions, and, if they are divided geographically, then WVU would likely be in a division with Cincinnati, UCF, Iowa State, and the two Kansas schools. Is that exciting?

There are no programs which can replace OU/Texas, but I think they got it as right as possible...BYU is a legit name, Cincy is every bit as good as 50% of ACC, so is Houston/UCF.

From a competitive football view I like Houston, but was hoping to get another team not in Texas...but with UT leaving, it's ok.

Really can't complain...they did good with the options they had.

I am excited too. Not over the moon, but these are good additions. I would like Memphis just because I want more teams in our time zone. I think our recruiting is helped if we play teams that are regional, more parents get a chance to see their kids play. ECU for the same reason. When Logan(?) was the coach there we had some pretty good games with them and I also don't mind having a team or two that we are favored to beat. It is a choice, whether you want to be be looking forward to it or to ***** and moan about it. Get it done.
