Bill Simmons on PTI today. They were talking about this being the last big weekend in cbb. Simmons was putting down the college game but said he likes watching UK.

College basketball to me is #1. Nationally, it should be #1, but it actually goes NFL Football and then College football. Maybe baseball fits in there some how.


Aslong as UK basketball exists, I don't care about ****.

Me too. Will go into a deep depression once the season ends. At least spring time will be here and we wont have to live in the arctic for awhile.

Good news. Our 17 day snowstorm and frigid weather finally broke today. It's coming your way!

I especially will hate seeing this particular season end. UK's never had one like it, not in my lifetime anyway, and that goes back to not very long after UK's last undefeated season.

I laughed when I heard Simmons say that.

His broader point is a good one though. College basketball now has so much hacking, pushing and flopping that it is becoming unwatchable for many people.

Unless they decide to clean that up and let the players play, eventually they will kill the sport.

They could extend the high school 3 point line they are currently using a foot closer to NBA 3 point line and free up play considerably, everything is packed into the paint now.
