Coach Stoops, are you reading these threads (and I know you are!!), let's just go with Barker the rest of the way and see what happens? It can't get any worse.
There are no football-centric reasons for Towles to play the rest of the season. If he does, it is because of something other than what occurs on the field and in practice.
You can tell Leach, who will never rattle the cage, is having a good time letting Freddie state the obvious.
Regretfully Im beginning to believe there is a lot of stuff going on behind the curtain and there are huge divisions within the team. How they are divided up who knows. Im thinking this incls the coaching staff as well. Maybe its a Barker/Towles division or a Boom issue, or even an offense vs. defense issue. I would say sometimes its a great thing to have some HC training before you get to the "Big Show" Stoops is making 3.6 million a year. Richt is making 4.0 a year. Somewhere it seems that we are not getting our monies worth at the moment.
Yes Barker should start just for change up reasons,however Towles has the better arm,is more durable and in a 10 yard race to the 1st down sticks he wins every time
Honestly, there were no football centric reasons for Towles to be re-inserted into that game on Saturday. It was obvious that the offense was in a complete stall with him at the helm.
There is something very, very strange going on behind the scenes with this staff. I don't even know to blame the players any longer. It's like the entire team has been thrown off balance for some unknown set of reasons.

Yeah,there is that,maybe that is why he is throwing behind people,he can't judge distance very well.
Theres definitely something not right about this team. No doubt some sort of odd divide. Noone outside of that lockerroom knows.....yet.
Nope, not any more. Have you not noticed? He now slides every time about 5 yards before he is tackled, about 4 yards before he would reach the first down marker. He used to run over people. I know someone has no doubt ordered him to do that but that makes him a very ordinary quarterback.
Sorry about this, it has already been said several times. I can't get used to this new format.
