I decided to look for the infamous "Banjo Boy", Billy Redden. Redden, who has grown up in Clayton, Georgia his whole life, was rumored to be working at the town's Super Walmart.

@Son_Of_Saul : Great story. Really wish we had a larger picture of you both. How was the rest of the trip?
Did you give him a couple a bucks?
It's just that....I was really hoping to see the unadulterated disdain for you in his face but it's difficult with this horrible resolution.
That was a line from the movie. As a matter of fact, I did. He took the time to talk with me, so I figured it was the right thing to do.
Technically, he didn't.
I'm inspired by this and I too would like to share my life experiences
This is me and Angelina Jolie dating in our 20's

My daughter's kidizoomer watch takes better photos than this
******** -- if that's Billy Redden where's his GD banjo?
Hell, anybody could throw a hat and sunglasses on some poor cart pusher in any Wal Mart in Anytown, USA and try to pawn him off as Billy Redden.
Side note: ...They picked him for the movie because he looked inbred.
Didn't you do this thread before?
LOL
Side note: Billy doesn't even play banjo. They picked him for the movie because he looked inbred. In the book, an albino black kid plays the banjo. The film makers obviously had a hard time finding an albino black kid, so they went with Billy instead.
which is nice. He's got that going for him.
I am disappointed that you couldn't take a better picture of Walmart honoring the poster child of its operation. Based on the pic I see two dudes who look like that just got happily married at Walmart, and a former retired priest from Florida with his "grandson." You can barely make out the picture overhead of banjo boy smiling in the banner
@Son_Of_Saul : So please enlighten us. Where else has this latest expedition taken you? Visit Austin? How was San Antonio or New Orleans?
Glamour Shots? I ain't ***** -- and I ain't the one stalkin' 60 year old inbred ****** from a 40 year old movie about inbred ****** neither.
