To what degree? They already are in an informal sense. Our country seems to be moving away from unionization anyway. The players can already have an agent. What else do they need? A juice box?

Why would the players vote to be in a union?

Unions are created to protect workers' rights/working conditions.

How would the conditions improve what what it currently is for the players? What do the players want that they cannot get now?
