Are a good thing. Look TX and OK are gone and everyone thinks that the Conference will fade away. I think that they may become even more relevant. Here is why

1. The Big 12 still has quality programs left . OK State, WVU, TCU , Baylor, Iowa St all have proven they can be winners. Kansas St has done well the past several years as well.

2. The fan base of the remaining schools are passionate and will be a huge part of the rebuild. Look as stated earlier I am a PSU fan but have been to more WVU games than any other college and the fans are crazy fanatics. So is OK St , TCU, Baylor, Texas Tech, and recently Iowa St. So the stadiums will still be rocking.

3. The additions are not just solid they have a high ceiling. If you look at each team and what they bring to the table I feel each team has the Potential to be top tier teams. I stated what they bring to the table in a past post so not going to post it again

4. The hunger and chip on shoulder factor. Yea I know its cheesy but the new teams added will be very hungry to have a shot at "the big boys" and have a chance that they never had before. A real shot at the NCAA playoff. Now schools that are left in the Big 12 your OK State WVU's of the world may take this a a slight and step their game up.

I don't even know what football will look like in a few years. By then, they may have removed the pads and helmet, and be playing flag football.

The biggest thing will always be recruiting good players. If the top recruits aren't intrigued by playing games against Houston, Kansas, Cincinnati, OSU, then they'll play in another conference. One of the draws of recruiting good players was getting to play in Austin and Norman against blue blood programs. If teams can recruit, and some will, then it's possible the conference can continue to be decent. If they cannot, then it will falter.

Probably should go big with expansion, and look to bring in Marshall.
