Although envious. I admire Indiana's team their offense is as potent as PSU's-'94 team. Should be one of the best championship games in recent years.
THIS. Lay the points and buy some more.I feel like OSU rolls over Indiana. OSU just out talents teams over and over again. Heck, PSU, in all of its disarray, took Indiana to the wire.
I agree OSU rolls over Indiana. OSU just has bigger better athletes all around. However, Cignetti may have learned from last year how not to rolled over by OSU. I would love to see Indiana win.I feel like OSU rolls over Indiana. OSU just out talents teams over and over again. Heck, PSU, in all of its disarray, took Indiana to the wire.
This is what we are up against.A football thread here? That’s just weird.
I could care less unless Penn State's next coach will be announced at the game.Although envious. I admire Indiana's team their offense is as potent as PSU's-'94 team. Should be one of the best championship games in recent years.
Maybe this is Kraft's plan, announce it at halftime and steal everyones thunderI could care less unless Penn State's next coach will be announced at the game.
Timeframe may dictate halftime at the Superbowl may be more likely.Maybe this is Kraft's plan, announce it at halftime and steal everyones thunder

Well, I gotta eat crow on this.I feel like OSU rolls over Indiana. OSU just out talents teams over and over again. Heck, PSU, in all of its disarray, took Indiana to the wire.
Ohio St by 15-20.
They will probably be on the same side of the bracket.Ohio state made too many killer mistakes. Indiana has a great team but sorry I still don't see them hanging with GA or Ohio State in the playoffs. Last nights game left me.wondering what might have been had Penn State played better in the defensive backfield. I still think its GA and Ohio State in the Championship.
I know but I'm hoping not. They will probably be on the same side of the bracket.
Yep, I’m thinking 1. Indiana, 2.Georgia 3. OSU, 4. Texas Tech? They will probably be on the same side of the bracket.
Texas Tech is a lot better than I thought. They play some tough defense but then again it is the. Big 12.Yep, I’m thinking 1. Indiana, 2.Georgia 3. OSU, 4. Texas Tech?
Was a great game, loved watching OSU choke it away.I’ll be busy pulling out my fingernails. No way I can stomach watching this game. That’s just me, YMMV.

Price you pay if you want to get blown by the national media on the last game of the year annually.I think that IU was helped by having a practice game against hapless Purdue while O$U had to play their emotional rival game against Meatchicken. Also, O$U had a lot of questionable offensive play calling in the game. I kept on looking to see where BGJ was on the O$U sideline.
In the long run this close loss probably helps O$U in the playoffs as it will spur the team to redeem themselves. Watching the games yesterday, I think GA is the best team in the nation right now.
That is what really shocked me. The level of portal players on the IU team. It appeared that nearly all of their starting lineup were players that transferred from other schools. They spent their NIL money wisely.Admire??? Their entire team are mercenaries from their QB, to receivers, RBs, TEs, OL.... did you listen to the broadcast? Every Indiana player mentioned on a great play was categorized as "a transfer from" xyz university. Literally every single player. These players do not represent the student-body or the University in an extra-curricular way - they simply wear a mercanary jersey that says "Indiana".
Rather sad that this is what CFB has devolved to - fans cheering for a bunch of mercenaries whose pedigree has zero to do with the University of Indiana. They probably have them sing the Alma Mater afterwards like most programs - LMAO.
These kids are not Juan Soto…many of them are still JMU transfers.Admire??? Their entire team are mercenaries from their QB, to receivers, RBs, TEs, OL.... did you listen to the broadcast? Agreed which is why they need to stop being playedThe expansion to a 12 team playoff has sure taken away a lot of my interest in these championship games. Other than seeds and maybe the effect they may have on a team on the bubble, they seem largely meaningless to me. In the expanded playoff era they’re just an extra game that you hope your team can escape without injuries that may affect your playoff run.
He's got better WRs and wasn't being restrained by a bad OC and a horribly conservative HC that didn't allow mistakes.Mendoza is so smooth and “natural” in how he plays QB whereas Allar seems more mechanical. Just my observation…..fwiw.
Which is why it's funny when people claim you can't build a team using the portal. 2 of the top 4 teams have done soThat is what really shocked me. The level of portal players on the IU team. That’s fine for instant gratification, but using the portal to constantly restock your team is not a long term solution. There still needs to be quality recruiting and player development for sustaining success.Which is why it's funny when people claim you can't build a team using the portal. 2 of the top 4 teams have done so
Oh I agree--but it's why losing the 2026 isn't the disaster so many wanted to make it out to be. The portal can solve almost any issue when you have the NIL money that we do.That’s fine for instant gratification, but using the portal to constantly restock your team is not a long term solution. There still needs to be quality recruiting and player development for sustaining success.
They still have not figured out OL play. Tegra was playing well, but last night he was a disaster. Sayin had guys in his face the whole night and he was confused by Haines' coverages, which combined led to five sacks. I thought Sayin played valiantly, but Hartline (or Day) called a crap game.Ohio States Achilles heel is their lack of a running game.
And PSU is about to do so, with a $30+ million war chest.Which is why it's funny when people claim you can't build a team using the portal. 2 of the top 4 teams have done so
