#yaavatar..I said I was going to sleep but with one eye open I was ah still peeking. slowly but surely opened both eyes. we cut it to 5 and I sat up in the bed. we tied the game I awoke the house!!!! then we won. I won’t sleep tonight !!!! Fkkk haha
You’re not alone. I did too when Goldwire missed that layup and then heard through the grapevine we were within 5 and turned it back. I’m super pissed at myself for losing confidence.

Are you ready for this? I walked home from the bar, down 23... and my friend — a Kentucky fan— texted me, “I effing hate Duke!” I turned the game on, on my phone, and watched the end in front of 7-11. There were odd, drunken stares. It was worth it. I’ll now watch the second half again.
My husband (who is a UNC fan by the way) threw a fit after I turned it back saying that there was no way that Louisville could all of a sudden start turning the ball over that much and Duke suddenly starting hitting their shots. He claimed the fix was in and I promptly told him he was full of ****.
I angrily turned my tv off when it was a 23 point Louisville lead and Duke turned the ball over. Chugged a bottle of water, stepped outside for a minute and turned the game back on. It was a 16 point deficit, then Louisville hit a 3 to make it 19 again. Almost turned it back off. I have seen a lot of college basketball games in my days. I don't ever count Duke out when there is 10 minutes left, but I counted them out tonight. Wow
That’s why I say thank God for DVR. I have already hit record button on the replay tonight. I will have to see what I missed
I’m not proud. It had already been a long day and my stress level was up. Lesson learned.

Back in 01, we were down with maybe 4 minutes left. Said screw it and took a shower..... Got out of the shower with maybe 50 seconds left and saw the miracle minute. Learned my lesson.

No shame Pixel. I turned it off because I had an early morning and desperately needed my sleep. I checked the score at 7:49 left and we were down 19 and I knew I had made the right decision to go to bed. Buuuuut, right as my eyes were getting heavy, I thought "what the heck" and decided to check the score again checked and it was a FREAKING TIE BALL GAME with 1:23 to go!?!?!?!!! Ran to the TV, caught the end. Re-watched the entire 2nd half, plus all the highlights. Who cares about an early morning right?!
Lesson learned......thank goodness I didn't bash our players as well...

Man. You people. I've turned ONE Duke game off EVER in the middle of it. INDIANA DUKE , March 22nd 2002. The ONLY reason i turned it off was because my wife was screaming in labor and Natalie was coming out. Hahahahahahaha! My wife screamed in her best exorcist voice , ' IF YOU DONT TURN THAT F***ing TV OFF I'M GOING TO KIL YOU !!!!! We lost.

I changed the channel to watch the end of the Michigan/Penn State game (love to watch U of M lose) out of frustration when we got down by 23, but I kept checking the score on my phone. When it looked like we were FINALLY getting into a rhythm offensively I turned it back on. At that point we were down by 16, then 14, then 11, then 9....you know the rest. What a crazy game.
SO PUMPED that Goldwire was a major part of the comeback too. That is going to be huge for him, and for our depth going forward. Coach K is truly a wizard.
