This is one of the classic UNC/Duke games of all time and I had become a Duke fan by then even though I was a young and small boy. Some of you have seen it and some of you may have not.You may need to repeat it a couple of times but it shows the Art Heyman / Larry brown fight. I don't think I was watching it on television that day because I can't recall it and what kind of Duke fan would forget a thing like that. I have seen it several times though and as you can see Art Heyman fouls Brown hard just as he should have and Weasel Brown kind of throws a wussy fore arm and punch at Heyman. Then old Art punches him and it's on. Even some cheerleaders get it on it and it looks like a male UNC cheerleader gets hit. No they don't play em like they used to. It seems as though Heyman did get suspended and maybe Brown did also. Brown really hasn't changed at all through the years. Just as slimy as ever. Someone may know the answer. Maybe Jim Sumner if he reads this. The incident really added fuel to the rivalry. Duke won 81-77. Notice that the teams benches were under the baskets to the sides.
