I was so looking forward to a comeback and being happy.
I live in TN, so I'm going to put on all the Kentucky stuff I own and go for a walk.
I live 2 miles from the Tennessee border in southern Kentucky. There’s a lot of ugly orange and Tennessee plates in my town. I’m going to dress head to toe in blue when my wife and I go the grocery later.
I'm just thankful Doug Shows was doing the vandy - florida game today.

About 10 miles here and we see them up this way often to buy food (due to the no tax).
I brings me great joy to always take it to them.

He actually looks decent a lot of games compared to some of these clowns out here. I do think he screwed us when Cal was here more.

Ended up going out to eat. Didn't see a single orange shirt or cap. It was nice for a change.
I'm with you. Shows has like a superhero ability to make a game about him, which I do hate. But with him reffing I don't ever worry we're gonna have the game stolen from us, like I did with Higgins when he was allowed to call our games and Doug Simmons and a whole list of other well-known names.
Now I do agree with a lot of people that Shows is an *sshole. But being an *sshole doesn't by itself make me dislike someone. It takes backbone to be an *sshole. I've liked myself a lot better since I started asking myself why did I always used to care so much about whether or not I looked like an *sshole? Shows' brand of being an *sshole makes it look harder to buy him. Plus the thing where so many teams to try train the refs by fouling so much "you can't call them all"--a lot harder to pull that on Shows. Maybe that's sort of what happened with Cal--maybe Shows felt like Cal was trying to pressure him not with constant fouling but with constant intimidation, and he was probably right.

I’ve had the flu this week and I’m not completely certain the last 2 games happened and not just some fever dream.
I agree! I live in Louisiana and was SO nervous about the game Wednesday! I have been on cloud 9 since and now it seems unbelievable to also beat the dirty dogs!! God is good!
