I posted this confession for three reasons.
1. I was wrong.
2. I weary of the recent avalance of posts starting, “I was right when I wrote blah, blah, blah...“ Good to know that Nostradamus posts here. Word of advice: In times of mourning, gloating is unbecoming.
3. I love ellipses.

Giving up this season is no penance at all. My penance will be going to the NU-OSU game and staying until the final whistle. That will be worse than any old hair shirt.
