You want a proven coach that CAN turn this around? Go talk to Bob Stoops, Nebraska AD! He might not come because he's good buds with Blozo the coach. then again, he might.

Kind of hard to listen to my mom's "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all" philosophy during this game.

That's what happens when you hire **** coaches. Hiring Riley was asinine and is a fireable offense ASAP.
But when we've had bad defenses for three straight (and arguably four) coaching regimes, you have to wonder if it is slow players more than the coaches.

Funny, on paper, Nebraska out recruits K-State, yet K-State seems to have their athletes playing well, in the right place. Can't believe they have overall better players than UNL. Sure, Snidely has been there forever, but I don't thing the D talent is so bad at Nebraska that there can't be some improvement from last week.
If we have a staff that needs 4 and 5 star talent across the board to be competitive with unranked oregon in the first half, then our staff SUCKS. Plain and simple.

As happy as I am to have scored that first drive of the second half, going for it on 4th and 10, down 42-14, on your own side of the field...shows you don't give a ****. And kinda not in a good way.

I feel ya. But we would certainly be singing a different tune if we were sacked on that 4-10.
I like Mike Riley a l lot, and want him to win games like these and others. He's a heck of a nice guy and represents the way you want a coach to do. And the players love him tons. I hope like hell he can turn the corner, but I just don't think it will happen.
Don't look for any **** stain at Lowe's it's all being used up in Eugene.
