rushing-Kemp 8 for 53 yards,receiving-Badet 2 for 50 yards, punt returns-Walker 2 for 11 yards, yeah I know that's anemic and both had penalties, but at least he fielded each and advanced them. Can't blame him for the blocks in the back. KO returns King- 2 for 34.5 avg. Defense - Farrington Huguenin career high 10 tackles, Hatcher 8 tackles including 2 for losses, Mike Edwards 6 tackles and forced one fumble, Khalid Henderson forced and recovered a fumble, C J Johnson 8 tackles, Meant 5 tackles, Stamps - 5 tackles including two bone jarring ones. In the thread title ike = like, sorry.

I respect your post and I'm really not trying to be a jerk but should we have to thank players for playing well ? That's why they get a free education and all of the perks they get for being on scholarship. I get your point, I truly do but we shouldn't have to thank guys for playing well. That seems to be one of the biggest problems with this team..... they don't give maximum effort and we're in a really bad spot right now. Again, I know where you're coming from but these guys should ALL be playing their best and some aren't even trying.

Some things just never made a lot of sense to me, playing bad to make your QB look bad, (LOL), Players not trying when they are in front of thousands of fans, some with NFL aspirations, etc etc. It also never made a lot of sense to me how players on D get so tired when they are on the field a lot, don't they spend hours and hours building up their endurance, hell, they don't even play both ways like everyone did in the old days, I'm sure we didn't play all out as much as they do (well, maybe I'm not sure) but i used to never miss a play on offense or defense and about the only break I ever took was trotting back after a long pass play. Really, with all that training and playing one way I don't see why it should be like everyone on the team tires out after a few plays, Boom after a long run or a long pass play, yeah, but a chronic problem?

I suppose some of them not trying were just thinking about that test coming up Monday.

By the way, I do appreciate the players that did play hard also, Coach said Hatcher had a great 2nd half. Which does make you wonder why he only had two tackles the first half.

Unfortunately, the OL has set the bar pretty low by their play for most of the season, but I thought they played relatively well on Saturday against a good Vandy D. The QBs had time to throw, and we had something like 225 yards rushing, well above what Vandy had been allowing for the year.

In light of the prevailing winds I appreciate your pointing this out. There were some things to like. I'm still clinging to a little hope. It's all we got left. Spoken like a UK fan I guess.

I would add Boom to the list. He had several terrible plays but quite a few huge ones as well. Overall, over 100 yards, 10 yards a carry or close to it.

I thought about Boom, but then there was that fumble on the 4 yard line that gave Vandy their first TD. Kinda negated his great rushing night.
