I’d like to fondle the same thing you would kick of whoever invented AC. I don’t know how people lived without it for thousands of years. One in 400 homes in the 1940s had AC? My goodness.
Couldn't you just take him out for a cup of coffee or buy him a gift card? Not sure fondling is necessary, warranted or agreeable

Mulch is low on the list of pain in the *** yard chores. High reward for minimal effort.
Good news is you are still allowed on or around playgrounds.
I pay a guy $300 every year to weed, edge, and mulch the flower beds. Looks great and worth it to not have to spend a Sat in the sun killing my back.

I feel the same way about the person who invented glitter. I bet they heat hades up extra hot for that dude.
Like to thank my wife who thought having landscaping with an unlimited amount of mulch beds that requires about 20 cubic yards to fill every damn year was a great idea. Of course, I am the one who has to spread it. Dang landscapers want an arm and a leg to do it.
Love organic mulch. Pine needles! Cedar chips! Bark! It’s awesome stuff! It’s like Astroglide for the garden!
