You are right, the offense has very little talent. Not! Are you related tp Satterfield?

Kentucky had the #21 defense in the nation. Ole Miss had 43 more yards of offense and 2 less points. At Ole Miss. Our offensive showing last night was more than respectable. Stop crying like a little nancy kerrigan.

I'm waiting for that moment when Satterfield is let go, and wondering how some of his more ardent supporter(s) will respond.

Will they question Beamer letting go their favorite OC, or will Satterfield move from savior to scapegoat at breakneck speed. I'm betting on the latter.

I support Beamer, and he supports Satterfield. If Beamer changes his mind and thinks someone else is a better option, I'll still support Beamer and wish Satterfield well in his future endeavors.

But there is no reason to fire him at this point. Period. He has done well with the hand he was dealt by Muschamp. We aren't going to turn things around overnight. Only a complete fool would have expected that to happen. This ain't some Disney movie. We are South Carolina and this is the SEC, and those defenses are no joke.

Like I said, the latter. But to be honest, it's the obvious choice.

The truly fun part will be the levels Satterfield sinks to in scapegoat lore to excuse away ANY perceived weaknesses in the next guy.

That's fine and your prerogative. But nothing he has done in his tenure at USC causes me to think he is anything more than the average to below-average OC that he has historically been when given the opportunity. IMO he got this job because he was BFFs with Beamer during their GA days at Tennessee.

Really? Spanking Florida with a FCS backup was "nothing". Beating Auburn with that same FCS backup was "nothing". Spanking UNC with a converted wide receiver at QB was "nothing". Beating teams that we should beat with a grad assistant at QB is "nothing". Ask TAMU about that. Ask Arkansas about it too.

I'm not sure what people thought was going to happen. Muschamp left a disaster on offense, and injuries made it worse. The fact that we are having this discussion after being a ranked Kentucky on the road shows how ridiculous people are. Too many Disney movie watchers.

I thought our best play call was the play on the last - Jalen Brooks - TD. Never seen anyone circle around the backfield(? was that Brown) and some nice blocking when Brooks got outside. I thought our worst call was going for 4th and 2 just into Kentucky territory. Could have backed them up deep with inexperienced QB - instead they took it in from midfield to make it 7-7. In all, we played well for the most part. I love having no stupid penalties(maybe we got a couple of breaks) & overall few penalties. And Beamer ball continues!! Love the dancing after the game too! Beamer has some of the good qualities Dabo has, minus the sleaze factor.

You want to play that game? Ga. State shut down our offense and Charlotte lit them up. Georgia shut us down and Kent State gave them a run for their money through three quarters.

Keep trying pony boy. Leave Ole Miss out of this.

Consider not only his tenure here, but his history prior to coming here. Struggling offenses is the norm, not the exception.

Yes....really! Only one of those teams were halfway decent at the time we played them....UNC. UF and AU were falling completely apart.

I was curious, did you see the unc scores from that year? Did you know Virginia, georgia tech, Miami, notre dame and wake forest scored more on them than we did? And Florida state and NC state came within 3 and 4 points (respectively) of our total?

Including our game, 8 teams on their schedule scored about that much or higher. And we're talking an acc schedule here.

I knew that they had a bad defense (didn't know the particulars) and we could have run Harris all night long and they would never figured out how to stop him.....and he finally put Joyner in at QB.

Considered we scored at will on Charlotte, they should be left out of it.

Here's the facts. LAST WEEK AT OLE MISS, Kiffin and Ole Piss scored 22 points with 399 yards of offense. LAST NIGHT IN KENTUCKY, we scored 24 with 356 yards of offense.

Maybe we would have score more with your moronic "run it every time because they can't stop it" stupidity. They could stop it and they did. Just like we did and they were forced to throw it.

We won. Keep crying. Those tears are delicious.

Have to ask the bookies that one. Probably to get money split fairly equally between the two schools.....perception is different than reality.

I don't have to ask them. Both teams had more talent and better QBs. In the past, we still lose those games. But we didn't last year.

Yeah....like we were in 2014 and heavily favored over TAMU. UF and AU having more talent and better QB at that point in their seasons is wishful thinking at best....both teams were coming apart at the seams.....and you know it. Same reason we lost to The Citadel in 2015.

Based on your analogy, we are better than ole Miss? Keep trying Pony Boy. Let me guess, you loved the play calling in the first half? Poor play calling set us up for the 2nd half? Tell your Dad Marcus i said hey.

It does bring the offensive explosion against unc into perspective a little.
