Winning would eliminate negative recruiting.
It's pretty obvious. First, Eichorst was a disaster. From Magic school buses to silly selections for coaches, to not understanding tradition, to propping himself up and saying we have great leadership and he's been providing that leadership, it was becoming an embarrassment. You don't let a disaster hang around that long.the Huskers, why didn't he wait until LOI Day was over before firing SE? It would have
eliminated negative recruiting by other teams. Maybe the speculation I have read on this board is true that SE was going to fire MR.

That's kind of a dick move to do to recruits. Not to mention negative recruiting is a lot less effective than people think.the Huskers, why didn't he wait until LOI Day was over before firing SE? It would have

BS yes it will. Not without an AD it won't.
BS yes it will.
You don't think winning Saturday won't help with recruiting? You're mental.
I'm not sure NU officially stating he will be back would help that much either. Most recruits would read through that as knowing its probably his last year.BS, it won't. Look in the mirror next time before you question my mental state. Nothing will help recruiting unless (a) Riley wins out, goes 5-1 at least or (b) NU officially states he'll be back in 2018.
If that were the case, then they would have already decommitted by now.I'm not sure NU officially stating he will be back would help that much either. Most recruits would read through that as knowing its probably his last year.
