Call me crazy but our offense runs well with Robinson at point, & Brea, & Ansley on the floor at the same time. 2nd half Zags & full game last night.

I want Butler because he does a lot when healthy, but my point is I'm not sure from a numbers standpoint it moves the needle much.

Funny how it takes things like injuries for a team to stumble upon one of its most effective lineups.

I said this the other day. Butler is able to get to the basket, but he really struggles once he's there. And then he doesn't really capitalize on the FT's.
IMO his court vision is not that great. He doesn't seem to see plays unfold before they've happened. Part of the problem may be that he doesn't force the defense to respect his shot, so they say off until they've funnelled him deep in the paint. Robinson, Brea, Almanor all three of them can knock down the three.

Are the rumors true that butler needs surgery and may not be back? Anyone know what is wrong with Carr's back? Do we expect these guys to be out much longer? How is Robinsons hamstring? Also is Krissa coming back or will he do a medical redshirt?

I can rule that out by Pope’s postgame yesterday. His comments wouldn’t have made sense nor would Butler’s “coming back soon” on IG Live

I want Butler back but honestly I feel good with or without him.
Love Butler, Love his hustle and his heart, but he does try to take too much upon himself and I think it has a tendency to disrupt the offense a bit at times. He’s more defensive minded first. He’s not a big assist numbers guy, he’s more of a get to the rim kinda guy and that comes with mixed success for a lot of our guys. The post play from a lot of SEC teams is brutal on guys trying to drive.

Injuries have funny effects on the team sometimes.

We beat Gonzaga and Tn on the road with Butler out.

I’ve read that Ark is better without Fland.

Usually those things are a one game bump.

Just never know.

I think we will be much better than any of those lines. UT was -9.5 at one point against a ranked UK team.

I think we'll fall -8.5 to -10.5 regardless of who's out because we just proved we can beat a team much better than Arkansas, on the road, with both players out. Bring that same scenario home, throw in the Cal aspect, and the Cats roll to at least an 8 point win, if not 12-20.

I’m hearing that the whole team is doubtful, with everyone but Perry and Chandler likely to have to miss the rest of the season with various injuries!

Maybe the coaching staff’s can take the court instead? But who on UK’s staff can keep Brad in front of them? Or do they let Brad get his and shut down Pops and other assistants?

Anyway, UK by 90.

I don't think it's going to make a big difference. UK by 12 if we have Carr and Butler. UK by 10 if we neither one or just Butler.
