I was thinking the same thing, he had to have money on the game

I guarantee it. Dude had 3 of the 4 turnovers in 90 seconds and didn’t score all half. He was shaving points. Even if you could explain those mistakes away, his general demeanor, unwilling to rebound things right in front of him, doing stuff no 5th year player does.

Possibly. But it must have dawned on him, about halfway through the season, that millions were being lost due to his play. Hell, I wouldn't even put it past the NCAA or CBS to pay him off to get the Cal vs Pitino matchup.
I was thinking more of a realization that he wasn't going to have the pro career he expected. Not a lot of USA guys look forward to playing in Lithuania, Greece, China, Australia.

Wouldn't surprise me. He's the type of mercenary who would switch sides in the middle of a battle.

His legacy at Kansas is nothing but failure and selfishness.

Somehow despite how everything ended up going we dodged a bullet there.

I feel bad for KJ Adams...$hitty way to end a solid career....I'm assuming that was it for him and sounds like it is an achilles.

That's what I meant in the first part of my post. That his career and potential earnings were taking a huge hit and he needed a payday to 'get right'. Who knows with sports and some of these guys?

You and I called it out immediately. There's no other logical explanation.
