....on Friday that I could guarantee a 4 touchdown victory, on the road, in bad weather, with a rowdy home crowd...... BUT we would have to give up a bunch of rushing yards and 28 points to the other team to make it happen, OR we could just roll the dice and see how things transpire, every Sooner fan here would have jumped all over my offer.

The final margin of the game exceeded that of the most optimistic of the board prognosticators and their final score was also lower than every prediction I could find, save one.

Yet, here we *****.

Veritas, if you can make that guarantee for the December 3rd game, I'll sign up tonight. :) I've been saying that we would win the Big 12 ever since we beat Texas, and I would almost guarantee we beat OSU. I'll take a 1 point victory because I think the Cowboys are really good. 80+ point game most likely. We just out score them in Norman. Boomer!

I wish I could, Your Dudeness. I'd also happily take a one point win, hopefully with no more injuries. The Pokes looked like an up and coming team this past weekend. :D

B******* is not the problem, imho. It's OUr defense. It doesn't even need to be totally cured. Improve on the one and I believe the other takes care of itself.

I read this somewhere (maybe home page ?) When we win Bedlam in two weeks it will be the 1st time we've won a XII Championship @ home. Seems unreal at first blush but then I recall that the XII in it's current form hasn't existed that long

Players and Coaches always say they want to get better every week improving day to day week to week and game to game. Why should fans accept any less? If you have ever played football at any level you know there is always room for improvement and the Coaches are the first to drill this into players minds in practice. No matter how good you are or the record is there is always room for improvement. Ask Saban if he is 100% happy with how his team is playing and if they have gotten as good as they can be. I would be guessing here but I bet he would say, No. Unless you strive for excellence then whats the point?
