It will be too soon.

I don't think this is a whole blog post, and given the PSU tie in, I thought I would just leave this here.

Only two pairs of wrestlers have met at the NCAA tournament four times with one of the wrestlers winning all four times. Can you name the pairs?
According to AI it hasn't happened in Div 1.

After reading this i entered finals by mistake.

Not hitting my brain right now, but I'm pretty sure Mike Caruso of Lehigh beat the same wrestler from Michigan in the NCAA finals three times (out of 3, which was all you could wrestle at the time).

O'toole-Carr wrestled alot , no numbers. Tayler-Dake, no numbers. Kinda like wickapedia I guess. Works good on stocks, though.

Fix and Desanto was only three, right? It just seemed like four or six.

ChatGPT tried to tell me that Sanderson and Cormier wrestled four times. Then, I noticed it had Cormier defeating Sanderson one year, and had them wrestling twice in the same championships. So much for that.
Ah ChatGPT. Stay artificial.

Hint time.

The second pair also involved a PSU wrestler

Is it 4 straight years or is it a case of beating someone on the front side and back side?

Good brain. Caruso beat Bob Fehrs by a combined 7 points in their three consecutive finals.
Bob Fehrs went to Milton Hershey school where I'm sure he won the national prep tournament at Lehigh. He came back to the Harrisburg area after graduating from Michigan. We used to see him all the time at the Harrisburg YMCA.
