If no bowl in 2016 or 2017?

Not going to a bowl the next two years is a very real possibility. I would say there is at least a 50% chance we don't go next year.

I still think Stoops can survive another 5 year season under the current AD. So I see him here for at least two more seasons.

If we have two more seasons without a bowl, what happens to this program?

IMO, he has two more years left regardless of what happens this year due to his nutty contract. If he doesn't go bowling either of those seasons, I think he will be let go...at least I hope he will.

Looks like it and it could get ugly.

If we don't go to a bowl next year, I really think we will, then it will get really ugly. He will be on the hottest of hot seats and assistants will be looking around and recruiting will be near impossible. With last years class falling apart and this one on the ropes, a third mediocre class could be the final nail in the coffin. Without the talent it will be hard to ever build up the program in the SEC.

Reviewing next years schedule I really don't see an opportunity for a bowl. What I am fearing more than anything at the moment is the recruiting. We lost a good class last year and we well maybe going to do it again. That scares me.

Yeah, we better make a bowl next year. The fans expectations are already lowered a lot for how far Stoops can take this program after the disastrous end to this season, so need to respond with a bowl game and bowl win next year.

Why worry about something that is never going to happen, could be a much better team next year and not make it, tough schedule, unlikely IMO, but we go bowling in 17 for sure, unless they really curtail the number of bowl games.

Besides, mitch is already taking notes on how jurich manages his APR, how he takes all those transfers and criminals that couldn't hack it at other schools and turns them into Rhodes Scholars, LOL.

I think attendance will drop at least a few thousand this year. It would be more, but I think some will have hope with a new offensive coordinator and still keep coming. If there is no bowl this year then you can expect attendance to end up like the Joker Phillips years the next year and Mitch will be forced to fire Stoops after the 2017 season.

If all that happens I don't know if the program will ever recover and we will just end up battling Vandy for last like we used to always do. I still have hope that if Stoops is gone in 2 years that Mitch will be forced to go after Leach (or someone like him) to please the fans. Defensive minded head coaches will rarely succeed here.

"Recruiting class fell apart last year" The 4* twins flipped to michigan st and we had a db flip to auburn. Also had a dt flip to ohio st, and a de stowbridge flip to nc st. Any more? The backup option ended up being very good my friend. That impressed me more then the 14 class.. Dt hamilton hurt the most! Few of the fallback guys, Westry, baity, miggons, bell, there were a few more that i forget! Think miggons will have a solid year next year, and remember when bell signed with us out of hs that he looked the part..Think he could be really good. Has the frame to carry 280-290# as a DE which is why he redshirted this year... Needed to hit the sc program and grow from a OLB to a DE! Westry and baity i dont even need to comment on:) king i believe was a fallback guy after harris went to bama..Not a elite RB but a much better second option then ever before..Normally we would have been very excited to get someone like king!
I actually believe if neal brown or just a average oc would have been on the sidelines we would have gone bowling..

I think 5-7 buys him another year thanks to the buyout. 4-8 or worse, I get the buyout but I just don't see the big money boosters standing for UK going backwards after spinning our wheels last season.
