And you started to read it and realized it was a story about your entire life, would you continue reading until the end?

Just thought it was an interesting question.

** In before the "books suck" "I don't read books" comments.

Strangely, there's a book about this. Published last summer, oddly similar to Girl on the Train--and in some ways better.

I like the chapter about the OP that says, "I went to reddit to steal thread ideas."

(though I am sure this questioned has been asked for 100s of years.

I would.

Have never been on reddit in my life. I actually saw it on twitter.

I'm not sure I want to know when and how I am to die, unless it would help me to be able to avoid it. Like a plane crash or home invasion. Then I might want to know.

No, no I wouldn't. Have no interest finding out how I die what that would do to me and the way I'm living my life.

Only if I could change events that happened that I didn't like the outcome of. Like if I find out I die from heart disease I might try to eat better and get more exercise to keep that from happening.

Don't know if I would read to the end, I would definitely read up to the current if I could tolerate being bored. Perhaps that's how it would end, death from boredom. Would be interesting to know what secrets the author discovered about me. I've got two I'm for sure taking to the grave.

I'd read it the same way I read every book -- I'd skip ahead to the sex scenes.

Same here. Now that Dad is gone, I'm the keeper of the family secrets. And all 3 are going to the grave with me. No need to cause pain unnecessarily.
