He and Frank would make for a ferocious back court. Reminds me of:
Does any OADs play defense? It's few and far between. Defense doesn't get you to the next level. It's about offensive numbers and showtime. You have to have Jrs and seniors to have defense. They are playing for their school.Does he play defense?
I've watched Darius Garland multiple times, he can play but does not strike me as 1 and done.Duval or not, Duke is good shape with Tre Jones and Darius Garland. The PG spot will be remedied soon, and for multiple years with one of those guys.
I didn't say he was. I said multiple years, as in not one and done.I've watched Darius Garland multiple times, he can play but does not strike me as 1 and done.
Yeah I didn't phrase that correctly and I didn't mean to insinuate that you did.I didn't say he was. I said multiple years, as in not one and done.
That's awkward. I guess Waters will have a chip on his shoulder. The buzz is that whoever doesn't get Duval between Duke & Kansas will likely get Tremont Waters.
on offense yes, but let's not forget about defense and decision making. But there's a HUGE gap between Duval and Waters.
That's just what Adam Zagoria said today but now Zagoria is reporting that Kansas isn't even recruiting Waters, so I wouldn't put much stock into that. My personal source tells me that Duke has the inside track for Duval but it isn't a done deal and that the last he has heard is that Duke had lost interest in Water's because his dad was crazy. After the Thornton issue, I can definitely see that being the true and Duke not wanting to put up with that baggage. That's awkward. I guess Waters will have a chip on his shoulder.
I just hope we get a few Scheyers, Nolans and Singlers each year to balance out the Jabaris. We need to start recruiting 20 guys to land 7 each year to keep up with the departures. I never thought we'd lose Tyus Jones after a year, but the NBA is just throwing millions at borderline guys. I don't blame these kids for taking the deals. You can rack up cash for potential and then just go back to school later if it doesn't work out. If I was a coach, I'd be bald and on meds. No wonder Roy stays in nanner puddin and silly jackets. It's his happy place. That's just what Adam Zagoria said today but now Zagoria is reporting that Kansas isn't even recruiting Waters, so I wouldn't put much stock into that. Big enough I would rather Duke sit it out and wait for the next class. But there's a HUGE gap between Duval and Waters.
