I’m not a coach but I know the answer to that. The famous excuse, injuries. No running back that was supposed to be the starter was ready. Fitzpatrick has his appendix removed before the start of the season and Robbie Bell was still injured. Crum was also banged up and now we know why Averitt wasn’t the guy we thought.
