Under Armour and it's CEO have gotten the attention of sports elite through groveling descriptions of the current White House occupant.

If UA's sponsorship of NU athletics affects us getting even one recruit, get rid of UA. Throw them in the trash heap with the cloudy purple hardwood. Do not risk NU getting stereotyped as a lilly white school for the myopically privileged.

No less than Stephan Curry corrected UA's CEO's characterization of Trump as a national asset. "Yeah, without the "et"", Curry is reported as saying.

This is about wins people, not politics.

How stupid of UA for entering this incredibly polarized public debate.

If NU distanced itself from every person who likes Trump, we'd never raise enough money for a single building again.

Boycott UA because of some show of support for our current president, but then you site a "correction" that calls Trump an ***? So it is acceptable in your worldview to call our president an ***, but a show of support is worthy of boycott?

Since ESPN showed support of our previous president by making a big annual event of him filling out his NCAA bracket, would it be appropriate to boycott ESPN? (And do you think ESPN will be holding a big "Trump filling out his NCAA bracket" event like they did every year for Obama?)

Stop being stupid and offended by everything.

clearly NU is tone deaf still having the UA uniforms, perhaps they should be burned at halftime as a "statement" ...You can't just silently switch suppliers.

The University has to make powerful statement that there is no room for diversity of opinion, we are a University for Gods sake...

You're probably right. They'd keep their money and buy new tires for their homes.

Dude, this lifelong Republican voted for Hillary, but you do realize there was a direct correlation between a higher income and Trump's share in the exit polls, right? Most rich Republicans stayed home, unfortunately, so let's let this stereotype die.

My personal political views aside, I do agree that if UA's political views were affecting NU athletics in a significantly negative way, NU would be fully justified in ending their relationship. However, I don't think there's any evidence of this...?

Maybe we should find him a "safe space" Not safe for anyone else as he still feels free to attack others.
