The last time Coen was working in Lexington, part of his focus was on returning to LA or somewhere else in the NFL. This time, hopefully, his focus will be entirely on fulfilling his contractual responsibilities to UK and producing an excellent offense. He has had his shot as an NFL coordinator, and he must have learned the hard way that it isn't everything he thought and dreamed about. Now he is being paid like an elite SEC coordinator, and he has an opportunity to make a real difference in Lexington. I am already sold on his play designs and play calling. If he succeeds at UK next fall, then the football world will notice. I think this is a very good hire.
