I have TMobile and they offered a free year of MLB TV. I was a huge fan until the 90's and they went on strike and sold themselves out to the home run. I'm going to try to become a Reds fan and watch their game every morning on my phone at work. I like listening and watching stuff like that while I work because I can keep up with it without having to give it much attention.

I tried again as well. Watched about an inning and a half of Reds opener. Couldn’t do it. Boring as hell. Back to basketball, Rugby and MMA for me.

Reds at full strength might be fun this year but not going to win the WS. A few years off from being a legit threat but this team looks like they have some swagger. A fun locker room can go a long way.

I’m calling your boss, Glenn.
Oddly enough, they don't really discourage it. I think it's one of their concessions since going to the "open office" environment 6 months ago. Anything to distract me from the white noise they pump in.

Do they not black out the local team? The NBA, NFL, MLB TV packages have always suffered because of that. At least FSOhio has all games on TV here locally.

I don't know about live but I was able to watch yesterday's game.

Have you taken up self-flagellation as a hobby as well?

Nothing wrong with TMobile. I had Sprint for 18 years and switched to TMobile because their coverage is much better in Kentucky and the cost was great with a veteran discount. We've had it now for like 5 months and no regrets. Much better pricing than what Verizon and AT&T offered.

Yes there is for me.

I worked with someone with T-Mobile and they had a hard time with rural reception. That may have changed. I am usually in a rural area.

I've been with the for about 15 years. The only place I've ever had trouble used to be at my friends place at Rough River. That changed 3 years ago. Now it's fine. So much so that the guy that lives there switched to TMobile so that he can set up a mobile hot spot and run his Firestick off it and have internet access off of it.

I just signed up with the free year. Pretty nice and the quality is excellent. I don't know how often I will use it but it is there now if I want to.

I'm fine keeping MLB in my back pocket until September and playoffs. It's hard enough to watch 82 game NBA seasons where each game has little value. IDK how people can watch 162 games in April.

Going to a game, different story.

The Reds have the 2nd best ERA in the league and they're 1-5. They only have 1 guy batting over .200 and 4 under .100. Good grief.

This is a fun era to follow MLB with all of the super competitive divisions and outstanding players. Mike Trout, Aaron Judge, Stanton, Yelich, JD Martinez, Mookie Betts, Arenado and many, many others are legends in the making and could become all-time legends by the time their careers are over.

I grew up with the Reds and still follow them, although now I live in the heart of Atlanta Braves country. I love it.....

To answer this question, yes, the Reds are blacked out for me here in Louisville. We are currently losing 1-0 to the Pirates.
