they should be nervous. I mean, most WVU fans are realistic and know our chances of winning this game are not great. With that said, we are a very good basketball team and UK fans know it deep down. Add to that the success Huggins has had over Calipari and that makes for some very nervous energy. One commentator said we are like Cincy on steroids. That is a fair assessment I think and it was obvious to most that Cincy had a good game plan. They just didn't have the muscle, the firepower down the stretch. They needed some steroids. The pressure is all on the other side.

All the pressure is on them. Outside of this state NO ONE expects us to win. This is a game I can see us losing by 30 or winning by 3. It just depends on whether we can sustain some of their spurts. Get knocked down & keep coming back. You know it's going to happen several times in this game. So do we fold like we did against Texas in Austin or Baylor all 3 times or Iowa State in Ames, or do we keep fighting like we did against KU in Morgantown. Make no mistake this is BY FAR the best team we've played this year. Only time will tell, but it might be the most talented team we've ever faced.
I absolutely agree. For reasons completely unknown to me, this team at times just seems to fold. At other times they fight back and appear to be able to play with anyone. Our team's mindset will have a lot to do with the outcome of this game. I can definitely see us losing by 30 but if we win, it will be a close, hard fought victory.
Do you think anyone in the state thinks we can win? If we played them 1,000 times....we might win once. They are a bad match up for us...their bigs are bigger than ours....their bigs can handle the ball.....and they are deep the guard position (unlike MD). Now I will be cheering like crazy tomorrow night. But for us to win...we have to shoot lights out and get a big lead. Even then..we can go 6-8 minutes without scoring. So we have to shoot well the entire game.
By golly after wall and cousins lost to them a few years back you better believe I'm concerned. I KNOW Ky is better but after buster Douglas knocked Tyson out I take nothing for granted.Uk should make wv shoot outside. WV shoots worse than ky.
I've got really weird feelings about this game. Early in the season I hoped that we'd get a chance to play them just to see our style against theirs. When the bracket came out, I knew we'd end up playing them and I really think we have a good chance to beat them. But of course my brain saw what Baylor did to us three times and thinks that this game might turn out much like those three match-ups. Exciting nonetheless and really happy with the season we had. Wins from here on out are a "cherry on top".

I am nervous I gave 25 points so yes this CAT is nervous lol other than that it would take a historical type game from WVA to beta these cats , I know you guys LOVE your team and I don't blame you one bit from thinking the impossible happens but just look stats they don't lie. Seems WVA players tweeting all kind of smack talk never good when you can't back it up. WVA lost to TEXAS by 27 it will be a DUNK fest watch and see! Best of luck from this NERVOUS CAT fan
