Ask me again when the U19 roster is set.

Also, hopefully Kentucky because he'd be a nice fit alongside Quade in the backcourt next season. Two PGs and then go big with forwards, and Quickley has plenty of length and physical ability to guard most 2's.

I actually think that's best for Quickley too. His shot is nice but a bit slow on the release, so he'd get better looks playing off the ball some, and his PG skills are still developing, so a year of not shouldering the full load might hide some of those flaws. Just depends on if the kid sees it that way too.

It will be UK or KU. The Adidas aspect is big with him apparently.

Ive always thought we'd land both Smart and Quickley. Quickley because hes Cals top option and Cal very rarely misses on his top PG prospect, and Smart bc he can be more of a scorer as a 2nd PG/combo role. We have a nice problem for once in the fact we should have multiple guys returning. Even with some improvement from Gabriel i expect him back. I could also see Washington return for a 2nd year to be the man in the front court like Jones did. Add Bagley and anyone else you want to that team and we look a lot like a title team

If Quade returns I don't think we'd get Smart and Quickley. If Barrett reclassifies the staff will do everything to get him (total stud) and he's a SG/SF type.

Quickley prefers Miami if he goes the Adidas route--they are an Adidas school, they have a staff he likes (remember that staff has heavy ties to DMV area) and they have developed more guards down there in their stint then Turgeon ever has in his tenure as a Coach. Bruce Brown will be the next this upcoming year.

Quickley is a heavy lean to UK right now which is nothing you haven't heard elsewhere.

Funny thing about Quickley is that he was a great facilitator in AAU last summer. This summer, he is an outstanding shooter but he isn't facilitating as much. If he puts the two things together... look out.

Thanks for the info.

I don't follow the shoe affiliation thing very much.

Just curious, how many non-Nike kids has Cal signed since coming here? Anybody know?

As a Kansas fan I think Kentucky is in very good shape for Quickly. I never felt nor heard were even the slight remote of a chance for him. - -Everything I've heard and read that the two KU has been on pretty heavy for is Quinton Grimes, and Devon Dotson. I think Quickley is pretty much a given for you

I think Maryland will be tough to beat for Quickley jmo, after watching some of his documentary
