After absorbing a bunch of facts laid out in the Mueller report, the attempts at obstruction reaches the level of "high crimes and misdemeanors" even greater than Nixon. I'm in favor of the House going in that direction regardless of political danger of their own jobs but they have a duty to perform. I don't know if they have the balls to go that way but after some hearings that will be needed to get more facts taking us into the summer months, I hope the Judiciary committee moves in that direction.

Color me shocked that one of the dumbest partisans on this forum would favor impeachnebt.
It won't happen 'cause the Senate Repubs don't care about the rule of law and won't convict him. The goal is to send Trump back to the private sector and the election is the best way to achieve that. The slime revealed in the report won't help him in 2020.
I understand about the Senate. Doesn't change the fact that the House should do the right thing per their responsibility under the Constitution and let the members in Senate pay the political price for not doing their part.
Doing right is more important than power. The lack of doing right is all through this report and other investigations. Those people including the president needs to be held accountable in this country,

The most important thing for leadership Dems is to make sure the next POTUS is a Dem and a failed impeachment would hurt that effort. Repubs were hurt with the failed impeachment of Clinton and that lesson has been learned. Just keep reminding people of what Mueller found.

I'm doing great. You should just hope that Trump doesn't ruin everything for everybody before he leaves in early 2021. I heard there were 17 ongoing investigations into Trump actions so there's always another investigation to entertain people and make Trump sweat and he proved the sweat part with his comments about the Mueller investigation that are documented in the report.

The report, and the investigation, are slanted against Trump. Taking the "F***" quote out of context will end up being the tip of the iceberg, as this thing is dug into. This is the Mueller dossier.
We know that the collusion/conspiracy angle was wrapped up and off the table months prior to the midterms. All of the events supposedly up in the air as to obstruction or not were finalized by summer of last year.

Maybe no one told you but there is no witch hunt and if there was, they found a witch and the witch is Obstruction of Justice but the DOJ doesn't allow a sitting POTUS to be indicted. I agree with you that it's a shame that Trump has put the nation through this but that's what you get when you elect a crooked, lying reality tv show guy for POTUS. You better pray that the economy is still doing ok next year.

This language indicates that SDNY is nearing completion of its investigation, and that other individuals face criminal exposure. Only a small universe of individuals were involved in the scheme, and, if Cohen is to believed on this point, one of them is Trump.

The office last month issued subpoenas seeking documents relating to donors and spending. The subpoenas reportedly reflected an investigation into conspiracy against the United States, false statements, mail fraud, wire fraud, money laundering and inaugural committee laws. In addition, CNN reported that SDNY had also expressed interest in interviewing members of the Trump Organization.
Rick Gates, the deputy chairman of the Trump campaign and inaugural committee, agreed to cooperate with prosecutors following his own guilty plea in a case brought by Mueller. Information provided by Gates could be shared with prosecutors in SDNY. Even if a sitting president cannot be indicted, that policy does not apply to an entity such as the inaugural committee or the Trump Organization.
