Florida jumped from 34th to 26th in the NET rankings with their win over Alabama last night.

We held firm at #47 despite gaining an additional quad 1 win after all of the NET reshuffling.

4 of our wins are within a few places of becoming Q1 wins (VT, GCU, MSU, Ole Miss).

I think if we go 2-2 or better this week and in the SEC-T we have a good chance of being a 5 seed despite our NET.

Would 5-0 potentially get us a 2 seed? 29-5, reg and tourney champs.

I think our floor is 7/8 seed at this point if we went 0-3.

Refs hate us and now the computers hate us also. Odd for sure. You would think we would move up with Florida beating Bama and us just beating Florida.

I don't worry too much about the NET rankings any more. I think we'll go down as the team that proved the algorithms are way off, leading to a major revamping.

It's interesting to think about, for sure. If we go 2-0 this week, we'd win at least a share of the regular season title and probably crack the top 12 with one of the gaudier records of the college basketball season. But it's hard to imagine those wins moving us more than about 15 spaces in the NET rankings. When was the last time a P5 regular season champion, with at least 25 wins failed to crack the top 30 of the NET?
