Very OT. He made a post about Taco Bell, and made the weirdest analogy or whatever, saying 'This past week has been Christmas Eve on heroin for me'. Like, what does that even mean? And why is that an analogy anyone would use? Just wondering if there's some new slang/saying I'm missing out on like something being fire for example. and why that drug would be used for such a saying. Just curious since I am not hip as I am way up there in there in my mid 20's.

MAYBE U.K. winning sect then Davidson while zona loses and UVA loses a big producer
So this past week has been heroin for me is something mr. franklin is saying in a happy way? As if this past week has been heroin is a good thing and he's happy about the heroin-like week he has had? I like ksr, but I do feel like they should find better comparison's or what have you.

I just lost someone close this week to a heroin overdose.

I'm sorry for your loss.

But ridiculing heroin shouldn't make it more popular.

I would never use heroin, or other drug, especially near the holidays.

My God, family and a debilitating substance at once!

NEVER!

He thinks he’s being clever but it makes him look like a dumb4ss. I’m guessing that’s a common occurrence for him.

Could be wrong, but Franklin thinks Taco Bell is a 5 star restaurant. (Like Mikey: He likes it).

He eats at Taco Bell a lot. So he’s happy to be in Taco Bell arena. Just a guess.

Never thought I’d meet a person who, even if they hadn’t heard drugs referenced in this way, couldn’t put together it means an unusual state of excitement/euphoria.

He was trying to to be funny and it’s obvious he simply meant he was excited to go to Taco Bell arena and get Taco Bell, but they don’t even serve it there. He was simply saying he was like a kid on Christmas Eve, times a thousand. My take on it. Dumb post btw

Nothing funny about being on heroine. Especially here in small town Kentucky

BTW, Drew should have written "Christmas eve on crack," or "Christmas eve on cocaine," if he wanted to evoke a feeling of excitement. Combining the excitement of anticipating Christmas with the blunted euphoria of opioids is a mixed metaphor, imho.

If I was going to do heroin, Christmas seems like a reasonable choice. You've got the day off, no one is checking your bank account, in-laws are f***ing terrible anyway.

Why not? Anyone know where I can score the good fentanyl stash?

One does not accidentally become addicted to heroine. Bad choices happened at some time.
Actually this is incorrect, considering I work in the field. The reality is, no one just uses heroin for no reason to start, I suppose there are some, but the majority of the time, no. Its not some moral issue. I see it all the time...some one gets in a wreck, has oral surgery, throws their back out...doctor prescribes pain meds. Then you become addicted to them, even if you take as prescribed. Not everyone will of course, but that's part of mental health and how ones brain operates whether they are genetically disposed to it. Then when your prescription runs out it's the street opiate ppl go to. Because your body becomew dependent, not bc you just want to get "lit". Doesnt mean some ppl didnt get there tho, wanting to get effed up on pills, bc those are certainly there, but a lot...no. It's still baffling ppl refuse to believe medical science. It rewires how ones brain operates..I mean I get it ppl don't understand behavioral health. But it becomes a usage out of your brain tricked thinking it's a necessity to survive, like food, or else your body has adverse reactions...also known as withdrawl which in opiates case is like the flu times a 100. Have yet to meet an addict that says, I want to be an addict. Anyway, return to arguing amongst yourselves without clinical knowledge.

Btw, Drew's take is pretty easy to understand. He loves taco bell....a lot.

You are not supposed to know. Only he is supposed to know.
