When I hit the Dallas area and LAX airport, In-N-Out is usually the first stop.

I've heard a lot about In N Out, are they really that good? I guess they are because a lot of people rave about them.

I have known of other burger places that have used a version of that name, but the Texas (San Antonio-based, I believe) Whataburger is inimitable. It's terrific. Whataburger has locations in 10 states, but aren't that numerous outside of Texas.

I've never been as disappointed in a fast food joint as I was In N Out burger. All that hype for nothing. They don't even offer Mayo. Tons of places better. Braums and Whataburger are way better.

In terms of food, service, value, consistency and cleanliness, In-N-Out and Culver's are the Chick-fil-A's of the the burger chains. imho
