I know, I know....this is a Duke board, but let's not pretend we don't have a vested interest in this one tonight. My buddy is an IU grad and is in Bloomington for tonight's game. He told me that barring a setback, Blackmon and his injured knee will be in the lineup. If he's even at 85-90% that will give IU a fighting chance.

UNC's frontline, even though maybe not as formidable as in past years in sheer volume of players, holds a decisive edge on IU. I love Thomas Bryant as a player, but he's going to have his hands full....plus, he's incapable to playing heavy minutes without running into foul trouble. If he does get find foul problems, it greatly reduces IU's chance of not only winning, but also of keeping it close. They just don't have much size at all.

The Hoosiers will need to make outside shots and can't afford getting off to a slow start. The last thing you want to do is play from behind for 40 minutes. So far UNC has been so good that they haven't had to face in-game adversity....I'd like to see how they react to things not going their way. That said, it's a credit to how well they've been playing.

Plus, someone told me that Bilas thinks the Heels are the best team in the country. :p

This is going to be a fast, fast game. Could be sloppy early on too. But these are two teams that share an interesting match up. Can the quickness of Indiana over take the brutes UNC offers?

Bilas was downright gushy on UNC last night. After he said they were the best in the country there was some highlights of UK. I cannot see how he can rank the Tar Heels over UK. Wow, those kids seem to be clicking.

Hope Hoosiers have a great game -- _really_ hope our boys get healthy.

I think IU hangs around playing totally on emotion from losing such an embarrassing game at home already but UNC and there experience will prevail in the end IMO. But I will not be at all upset if I'm wrong

I'm sure Indiana's adrenaline will wear off and UNC's execution will take over, but the Heels look rather pedestrian right now.

I wonder when Bilas is going to have surgery to remove Roy's pen!$ from his a$$!

If you guys are going to bash Bilas at least listen to everything he say's not just his remarks when he doesn't praise Duke. If you take a look at thr they sound like a lot of us when posting about Bilas. They think he gives unc unfair criticism. All of you know my stand on Jay. He's the best in he business. He's just doing his job and he's a Dukie. He's not like Len Elmore or Hubert Davis when Hubert was doing games. Both are big time homers. I'm proud of Jay Bilas. Smart guy. He went to and played for Duke. I agree with him last night when he said unc was the best team in the country. They are right now. He didn't mention Duke because right now we are not. That's gonna change and when it does Bilas will say so. He said a lot of things that were right last night about MSU, Duke and the officiating. He was right about players selling the fouls and the officials buying it. The problem is most broadcasters/announcers either can't see it or are afraid to say it. He's right about the NCAA also. He's right about allowing high school players to enter the draft if they want to. Think how nice it would be to see college basketball players without one and done' s and to see these college coaches develop college basketball players. Sometimes we just get too caught up in the side shows of the game and forget to just sit back and enjoy. Sure we could all hit the mute button, turn on the Duke basketball network if you are lucky enough to get it ( even where I live in tar heel county North Carolina if unc is playing the same time as Duke we get the unc game) and listen to Bob Harris whom I love and you will get your Duke homer because Bob loves Duke and he see's everything Duke's way just as he should. Enough of this dsouther post. I'll try to not defend one of our own in standing up for Jay Bilas. OFC

Yep, Roy is good, Sky, but K is the GOAT! That's why they hate him, and Duke so much. Great time to be a Dukie!

It's his 1,000th game as a head coach, not all at UNC. But we still hope he loses.

Good start for the Hoosiers.

We've suffered his presence for 1000 games. Really?! I think that's 1000 for his career. He's only been at UNC since '03.
Yeah it appears that I misread it when it was on the screen but either way it would still be great to see him lose his 1000th career game as a coach. Another good thing is that we'll either win or tie in the ACC/Big 10 Challenge.

That alley oop reminded me a little of the Hurley to Grant one. I thought it was too high. Great flush!

Dicky V is doing a wonderful job calling this game. I don't think Indiana can keep this pace up against the best team in the country

I don't mind Vitale either....although he isn't as good as he used to be. But part of that is just age. His passion, love him or hate him, is still at an all-time high.

Buckle in....thinking the second half will be pretty good. I'd be surprised if UNC doesn't make a big run.
