I know a lot of people have been talking about Brandon Ingram possibly overtaking Simmons as the 1st pick in the NBA draft. There is a distinct possibility that the #1 and #2 picks in next years draft will not make the NCAA Tournament which just blows my mind.

Agreed, new rules need to come into play by the NBA, at least go to the NFL rules of 3 years out of college.
I think 2 years would be sufficient. Guys like Elton Brand and Luol Deng came to Duke when they could have gone straight to the league; I don't think either one would have benefited much from an additional year of college.
Granted jumping to the league wasn't as common in Elton days, as KG, Kobe, Jermaine O'neal, and T-Mac were the only guys to declare when Elton graduated from HS in 1997. But Luol certainly could have gone straight to the league, and he would have been a top 10 pick.

1, Simmons is going #1 and there is no way BI overtakes him. 2, we're not missing the NCAAT, you sky-is-falling, jowl-wagging, fraidy-cat jazz hands, "think of the children!" maroon!
Ignore me for what? I am not knocking anyone or calling anyone out I am just stating facts. Both teams right now are on the bubble and both teams have the top 2 players in the country.
Your comments are fine, but you have to be careful saying anything that could be considered negative towards duke. Simmons is most likely going #1 but the last few weeks during duke games they talk about some scouts thinking Ingram has a chance to be the better pro. If philadelphia would take simmons, they could possibly have the worst outside shooting team that I can ever remember. Personally I'd rather have Ingram than Simmons if I was an NBA team.
Duke most likely will make the tourney but Gtech is another huge game on Tuesday. IF they lose at Gtech then the bubble starts coming into play. I have the confidence this team can beat anyone, but I think they can lose to anyone in the ACC. Right now they're losing. NC state was a huge road win, need to have another road win at Gtech.
You gave an opinion....not really anything you said, other than Simmons and Ingram likely being the top two picks, were facts. As it stands right now....Duke isn't a bubble team. They could turn into one though if they don't get it figured out.

You are right Den. Duke is the best team in the country, they are probably a 1 seed in the tournament and for sure heading to the final 4.
If you listen to everyone right now they are asking if Duke is even a tournament team. Right now looking at the schedule they are a bubble team until we beat anyone beside IU. They were a projected 6/7 team before the loss to Miami. I am not saying they won't make the tournament, God I hope they do but to look at the rest of the schedule with blinders on is setting yourself up for major disappointment come selection Sunday!

Yes, but the officials need their bag of cash 72 hours prior to tip-off. Plus, it's just cleaner that way. We're not amateurs....do you think we're just going to pay them in the parking lot before the game? We've been doing this too long to make a stupid mistake like that.
