MJ said on the postgame show that his "agents" will be a part of the decision making process on whether or not to have the surgery...These guys are making more than you or me will make in a lifetime, for playing basketball lol...most of them are lazy and will never work after their basketball careers are over

Dear Lord. We are not trying to solve a crime here people.
But it’s a conspiracy! Pope is lying to us!

Look. Pope has had a head scorching week of weird comments but I don’t think he’s gonna flat out lie tie the fan base. He knows better.

As usual it’s a certain segment of our fans that think Cals back out there protecting draft stock.

How so? He is cheering his team on when he can’t be medically cleared for physical play. Wheeler sucked and pouted on the sideline. Stop trying to character bash when you don’t know all the details.

This. I swear the man could be in a wheelchair and give a fist pump and they’d be like “See! Have can move an arm! He’s just lazy and doesn’t want to play!”

With Cal I get it. Mr “Haven’t seen him” led to doubt. But Pope has been nothing but open about the injuries.

That's not a full blown torn labrum either. Maybe a partial. You're not raising your arm like that with a big smile on your face if it is lol

The man is getting paid. That should end this elective type stuff. Folks act like these are typical college kids. In Lowe’s case a pro career is questionable at the next level. This is his pro career. Hold off on surgery and be a role player to help at pg. Kerr Robinson Lowe. I don’t want to see that happen and it may prevent pope from getting top pgs. Butler played on and off injured. Pope has a problem at pg evaluating healthy talent or guys willing to sacrifice to play the spot.

Idk this is crazy that we are in this position again. Dr will probably give him the option of surgery now and come back before season 2 or after season in which he could be out the early part next season.
What doesn’t make since to me is that there’s no tears or change in mri since last time.

I’m sure it isn’t legal but I’d sure love to pay kids based on the amount of time they played.
It won't be but a season or two more, and the players will have a union. Schools will want to do exactly that, pay based of games played, incentives for stats and wins... Players will want guarantees... They will have a players union just like the NBA... 3 years tops before it happens.

Also curious, how many NIL deals the clearing house has denied.. Most of this years NIL numbers where frontloaded, before the new rules went Into place.. Just curious how much of a effect that the players all not living in the lodge, and getting all there money up front is effecting play of the floor. You have someone like Clazada on the football team.... Think he is really pushing himself to get better, he got benched.. Still making the same money while flashing 20k in a Twitter post....

Players that aren’t guaranteed pros…… expect to see this more often. Get paid. Sit out for minor injury. Keep eligibility get paid an extra year. Wish I was around in the 80s when players would play with two fractured arms and legs.

We’ve had this happen before. Hopefully Pope won’t fall for it if that’s the case. Who really knows though.

Yup it’s pretty ridiculous.
