Right now St. John's is 16th on Kenpom and we're 17th. St. John's is 84th in offensive efficiency and we're 3rd. We are 82nd in defense efficiency and they're 2nd.

Surprised they are ranked that high in defense. Mainly due to they've had some really good wins, but some close games. And the BE isn't overly strong either. Just them, UConn, Marquette.
Their SOS tells the tale 65. Ours? FOURTH.
Yep, pretty impressive. We don't have to be great defensively, we just can't be abysmal. I feel similarly to how we were last year. And Pope with last year's roster has a REALLY good shot at a FF in my opinion. We had the firepower last year, just needed to be like 20% better on defense and have a coach who would play the right line ups.
