Disgraceful times for BBN. I understand fans are not impressed with the team and coach. Most of the nation is also not impressed with us. The team showed a lot more guts than some of the fans

They make millions of dollars, why should we put up with half *** play? They wanted to be pros, they can deal with the pro environment now.
Sadly the booing may have helped. They looked like a different team after that.
They weren’t booing when the Cats were playing well, they were booing when they yet again looked like complete dog**** for the first 10 mins or so in the game. These guys are pros now, UK basketball has a standard and if you’re playing well below it and the coach isn’t getting in your face about it, then as far as I’m concerned, it’s the fans right to express their frustration over it.

The fans were booing BECAUSE they weren’t giving a peewee effort. Never mind a pro effort. You have it backward.
The fans were equally ready to get loud and cheer on the team once the team looked like they actually gave a ****.

The team deserved to get boo'd at that time. We have 6 losses and many more coming and we immediately got down by 11 and looked like we didn't care to be there. This isn’t Northwestern, there's a standard here.
Also, it couldn't have been too bad, Will Stein had bigtime recruits there and one of the highest rated guys committed right then and there.

I’m not the type to boo my team but will get upset. To act like the fans that did boo did so simply because the players walked on the court at tip-off is disingenuous. I personally think their effort level picked up shortly after for a variety of reasons including Pope‘s adjustments.
