Well, if half the players are gone, then we still would have SOME players returningAnd for the ones thinking we are going to have some of the guys again next year… half this team is gone imo after the year.
I think we will have a nice group returning. Somebody like Hawthorne though needs to be played just enough so he doesn’t get discouraged stuck to the bench like Bryce Hopkins.Well, if half the players are gone, then we still would have SOME players returning
For sure it’s a good thing but I was meaning as far as starters and first few off the bench. Mainly people expecting to have Lowe and Mo after this year is far fetched imo. JQ is gone even if he don’t play a single game. Of course the seniors. Then Jelly probably leaves too. Happy to be wrong about thisWell, if half the players are gone, then we still would have SOME players returning
Agreed! IMHO, we have all the pieces for a title run! Pope can throw sooooo many looks at the opposition this season, it’s mind boggling! They also say that JQ has grown a couple inches and added 25/30 lbs! The biggest key here is the play of Lowe IMO. That was our main worry during this offseason. I’m not worried about Lowe at all anymore. We are in for a special year..............
That seems a bit far-fetched to me, but we clearly have quality depth.Goodman said that our SEVENTH backcourt guy would average 30 minutes a game on 330 other D1 schools in the country! Lmao that’s absurd! Gonna be a special season! Go Cats!
Yeah somewhat hyperbolic, IMO. However, he even stated that it wasn’t hyperbole immediately after he said it.That seems a bit far-fetched to me, but we clearly have quality depth.
I believe that Mo's height will keep him from being a first round pick next draft(since I think he's a four), so I'd expect him to be back. I'm not saying he isn't worth a first round pick or that I wouldn't pick him or that he's not a future NBA player; I just know not having ideal height for one's projected position tends to lower a player's draft stock. For sure it’s a good thing but I was meaning as far as starters and first few off the bench. I believe they can have so many practices or hours of instruction a week. Not sure how much has changed since being paid but that’s the way it used to be.Are teams allowed to be at full practice level now? I thought that wasn’t until October?
