I know there are a lot of people on here that have followed Robert Kirkman's Walking Dead (I'm not one of them), and even greater number that have been following the Marvel and DC franchises. I was surprised to not see anything about Kirkman's 'superhero' series Invincible posted, though. The Season One finale was this evening, and I really felt it delivered.
Admittedly, I followed this series from the time it debuted in comic form and it is my all-time favorite, but this series just hits so hard. I know it deviated slightly from the original series, but I mostly thought the changes they made were for the better. I thought the Omni-Man and Guardians of the Globe scene in the comic was a little more impactful, which might seem unbelievable if you've only watched the show.
Probably worth noting this is *not* child appropriate due to violence and language. Anybody else on here watching it? Loving it so far.
