That's a fact. If you're a fan of college basketball, the Big Ten is a blast to watch. That's pretty much true every year, but this year particularly. March Madness-level basketball night in and night out.

Iowa and Michigan is going to be epic. Michigan was due for a dud and they had theirs on Saturday at the Barn. They were missing their senior guard Eli Brooks which hurt them a lot more than I might have thought. Their freshman big Dickinson also had his first bad game. It will be interesting to see how he bounces back from adversity.

This is a really tough conference to try and build up a decent team.

There are several quality space-eating big men in the league this year. NU has height at some positions, but we don't have a guy with the power to take on people such as Garza, Cockburn, Dickinson, etc., one-on-one, and if you try to double Garza against a team such as Iowa, you're dead meat if they hit their 3s. This year's Iowa team reminds me of the '69-'70 Iowa BIG champions a little bit.

I'm thinking that a 7-0 shot blocking center should be #1 on the recruiting list. But if PBJ commits to NU then just play without a center!
