Iowa won it, and they had magnificent guard play. It seems like they have 4 or 5 guys who can really handle the ball. Right now we have two guards we can count on and could use a couple more. I don’t know if Ash will be back but if he is healthy you can count on him for 15 minutes of steady play. Gaines has played well and Greer is getting better every week. Hopefully the next group of recruits will bring us two more backcourt guys who are quick and can handle the ball.

Beilein of Michigan said he felt the key was that Iowa got his big guy in foul trouble early and was able to control play underneath with Garza and company.
