The team with 2 - 4x time NCAA champs that beat the second place team by 100 points coached by a 4x NCAA champ and Olympic Gold medalist!
I think the out performing seeds actually supports Penn State being better. Makes Iowa's run seem somewhat fluky, that everything just went their way.
If each team were to have 100 tournaments, I think Penn State would have been between 165-175 on almost all of them, and their average would have been 170 +/-.
I think for Iowa, they would have had a much larger spread of results. Based upon their seeding and season results I think their average would have been significantly lower.
