is taking place on 12/8, 12/9, and 12/10. Boy's preliminary rounds take place on 12/8, and the boy's competition concludes on 12/9. Girl's preliminary rounds take place on 12/9, and the girl's competition concludes on 12/10.

Four PSU verbals will be in the competition:

- Asher Cunningham (#11 seed @ 157)
- Joe Sealey (#2 seed @ 165)

No weight class is a picnic, but 165 and 126 look crazy. The top 5 seeds @ 126 are:

The web site for the tournament indicates that they'll wrestle the quarterfinals on Friday evening. They haven't gotten through R3 yet for the upper weight classes, so I can't promise that I'll be around for an update on the quarters.

Updated results are below. Asher Cunningham with an upset win, as he pinned the #2 seed in the quarters.

I believe wrestling is wrapping up in the tournament. Those that lost in the quarters have to wait to see who they'll face in the Consolations, as indicated below.

As mentioned above, I'll be at a tournament most of Saturday, so this is my last update of results. I'll leave it to one or more of you to pick things up tomorrow. Live brackets can be found on TrackWrestling.

Also, I probably should have included Jax Forrest in the Others of Interest. He's the #2 seed @ 126 and he's into the semis, where he'll face #3 seed JJ Rogers McComas (Stillwater) on Saturday.

Asher is very good. I was wondering about Jax Forrest. Thanks for the updates Tom. Hopefully someone will update us on the Semifinals now.

Be great to land Forrest with Lilledahl. Both are Elite and would only make each other better in the room. Both would win multiple team and individual titles. Hopefully Cael and Coach Cody are goIMG after Jax hard. He’s right in our backyard.

Thanks for all the updates Tom. I’ve been checking in on Floarena from time to time but didn’t have free time today to add much.

Other matches to note. State College’s Pierson Manville wins 144 title over Jack Consiglio of Malvern Prep. Manville is going to Arizona State. Consiglio to Stanford.

I wasn't completely sold on Bassett prior to this weekend. That being said, the kid has fun and he obviously isn't cutting any weight so burn out shouldn't be an issue. I have become a fan of his.
