Common sense? I don't think is a super power. Unbiased common sense? That is another matter as conformational bias has become rampant in today's society.

IMO, as the great Ted Knight once said: "The world needs ditch diggers too". I think today's youth is pretty sheltered from reality and it's not until they actually start looking for a job when they realize it's not all tits and champagne.

I started out digging bell holes , now I Weld in them ..my baby girl will start college in the fall & I'm scared for her to go ..not the cost , but the shelter they are trying to put our kids in ...

That shelter is mainly the fault of the students ... at least the ones crying out about how they are being offended or victims of micro-aggressions or the like. I don't honestly think it's a majority of the students that feel that way either. The squeaky wheel gets the grease though.
