With their bowl win that gives them a 10 win season. Granted they play in the ACC, Another Crappy Conference, but 10 wins after what Jimbo did down there is pretty good. I'm sure the Louisville fans were really happy watching their game this evening. They know that they are a long way from beating both them and our Cats. So are they back or just lucky to play in the ACC?

They beat a 6 - 6 team by a field goal. That makes them a powerhouse in the ACC.
Not back as in Bowden era, but Norvell is building them up to be consistent. Better than they've been since Winston title team.
I don't see them being title contenders over the next couple years, but they should be legit. With Clemson slipping I expect them to contend for top spot in ACC. At worst should be clear #2 in the conference depending on if Miami can finally put it together with the recruiting classes they are bringing in.
Their coach is legit. Who knows how college sports is going to shake out the next few years but if FSU has the money to buy players he’ll coach them up well.
Chances are they will never again match the Bowden Years. That was some kind of special. Probably one of the most exciting eras in college football history.
No team will do what we did from 87 to 00 but with a 12 team playoff coming fsu can get back to winning something big

They have an inflated record playing in the ACC. They're okay, but not title-contending good or close to it.
They're very close to it offensively they are top 5 in the country it's the defense that's not quite there
