If we get a couple more games where we are making them consistently, I’ll start to believe our woes from three are over.
Starting to look like Pope was right about our shooting.
I don't think we've ever been a "bad" shooting team to begin with. We haven't played to the level of execution we should be perfroming at. The shooters on this team are capable, good shooters. They simply have not consistently performed to the level they are capable of.
Making open shots and tough twos, even missing layups throwing that into the mix, make the open shot should be the mantra for them. I certainly hope they start to stringtogether games of ten plus threes made per game. It will make life much more manageable for them.

been pretty good lately, just don't get why it was so bad for so long
Chandler 4/6 from 3 today, like the dribble penetration from Denzel then the kick out to he and Jasper. Aberdeen has been under control the past 2 games and becoming a you we can’t take out of the game.
I really think if we could get an offense going where the ball is constantly moving the percentage will continue to rise.
Edit: I’m adding this though, the free throws have got to get better or that’ll become the end game plan for everyone we play later in the year.
Couple percentage points behind last year’s team and IMO trending upwards.
It wasn’t the shooting it was the lack of movement
Chandler shoots as soft of a 25 ft shot, as I have seen anyone shoot. He has some range, I hope he continues to play like he did today, and improves his Defense along the way
It’s all about the shots being taken. Of late we have been taking better shots due to better ball movement as the game progresses. We still have a lot of possessions though we have very little movement this tougher shots end up being taken. This team (and coach) is tough to watch. Still hard to watch with any level of confidence. But 2-0 this week on the road is still 2-0.
And effort sometimes just wasn’t there. When they fight hard and actually move with sharp cuts and set good picks we’re ten times better. They sure look like a completely different team when they hustle.
Aberdeen was a force in the second half. JJ played very much within himself today. Proud for him.

I think it's because we are finally learning to pass the ball more to get better looks as well. Aberdeen was on a heater today, so his refusal to look for other teammates didn't hurt us as bad.
Aberdeen improving lately, Oweh knocking down 3's more consistently, and Jelavic getting some playing time. Chandler with 6 3's in the past 2 games.
This is the shooting Pope keeps saying he sees in practice every day, well, finally lol.
Free throws continue to be an issue but glad to see the threes start to fall.
