Carter is one of our best players on the DEF, if not the best. potential 1st rounder next spring. is it possible that his move to DE will reduce his reps? if so, is that a good overall thing for the defense? I know this was his idea, but might not be best for the team.
on a related note, the BWI guys talk about Abdul and Kobe being 250# LBs like that is a bad thing. Many of the BIG teams have size like this at LB. Very similar talking about our DEs that get close to 270 as possible 3T DTs. UMch has had DEs at 290.
